To achieve this industrial-styled look, a hydraulic bush is hammered into the surface of the stone. It creates a large number of close and small indents. The result is an evenly textured surface that’s ideal for non-slip characteristics in high-traffic applications.

Bush-Hammered Process

Bush hammered surface finish is in fact a process performed by using a gang saw. Sawing is almost always a must in any production line, and can be applied to marble. The sawing is done on looms, machines that use steel strapping, grit and water to transform a block stone in what is known as tables or machine equipped with diamond blades (cutters) for production of bands, tile or stone plate. Sawn surface is coarsely polished leaving a semi-smooth, regular finish.
