Khoy Marble

Generally speaking, Khoy Marble belongs to the marble family. The background color of this stone is light Nescafe or dark cream and small veins termed Deer antlers can be seen on its surface. The fewer the number of veins and the lighter the color, the higher is the quality and price, and conversely, the darker the color and the so-called green, the quality and price decrease, and it is considered as a second-degree stone. The mines of this marble are located in Khoy Area, in West Azerbaijan province, Iran. Khoy Marble mines are located adjacent to each other, but each part of these mines has separate designs and textures and colors, and therefore different names based on the color and texture of the stone on these rocks.
